HOW WE RUN THE CLUB
All our rides are led by our volunteer Ride Captains. We currently have around 40 ride captains all of whom have undergone specific training. Other members help in various ways including managing our social media, taking care of kit distribution, membership, coordinating health and safety training, running new joiner courses, route planning, route risk assessment, co-ordinating first aid training as well as developing new rider sessions.
The club is run by a committee which meets monthly, and which is elected annually at our AGM with any member able to stand for any role. Each member of the committee has a specific role which is as follows:
