BellaVelo is a women’s cycling community based in SW London that welcomes all abilities, from novice to elite. We are passionate about helping and encouraging female cyclists via training, organised rides and social events throughout the year. Most importantly, we believe that cycling should be fun!
What we do...
The following sessions are open to everyone in the BellaVelo community and depart from Roehampton Cafe in Richmond Park. Newcomers always welcome. Please introduce yourself.
Wednesday 19.00: Social laps - stopped over winter
Thursday 09.30: Three social laps then coffee - all levels
Tuesday 07.15: interval training - meet at Roe Cafe
Friday 07.15: interval training - meet at Roe Cafe
Awaydays are fun rides to see somewhere new. These are for anyone in the community as different length routes - may combine train and ride. There are no formal ride leaders on these events so please be prepared to download the route.
BellaVelo.cc - Club Ride
Each Saturday we ride out in various speed groups on our club rides. Rides leave Roehampton Cafe car park at 8.00 with ride briefing at 8.25 and main departure point from Liongate (opposite entry to Bushy Park) at 8.30am.
On the first Saturday of the month, we are invited to join Pearsons ladies for their social ride. The meeting point is on the South side of Kingston Bridge ready to leave at 8.30am.

All our rides depart from Lion Gate opposite the entrance to Bushy Park at 8.30am. There is a departure point from Roehampton Cafe car park in Richmond Park at 8.0am. Rides depart punctually at the advertised time so please arrive no less than 5 minutes early.
